This program provides a comprehensive and interdisciplinary exploration of gender as a social construct, examining its influence on individuals, relationships, institutions, and societies. Students will learn about feminist theories, queer theory, intersectionality, gender identity, gender expression, sexuality, and the social and cultural construction of gender across diverse contexts. The program emphasizes critical thinking, social justice, and advocacy, preparing students for careers in fields that require a nuanced understanding of gender and its impact.
