Academic College: Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions, School of Social Work. This Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree is a four-year program designed to prepare students for generalist social work practice. It is one of the largest and most diverse social work programs globally and has been continuously accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) since 1974. The curriculum focuses on developing problem-solving capacities in individuals, families, groups, and communities, and advocating for a more just and humane social environment. Students gain foundational knowledge in social policy and services, human behavior in the social environment, social work practice, and research.
