This interdisciplinary program combines the study of geology with physical geography, exploring the interactions between the Earth's materials, processes, and surface environments. Students will learn about topics such as petrology, mineralogy, geophysics, geomorphology, hydrology, climatology, and Quaternary science, and will undertake a significant research project. A key feature of this program is a dedicated year spent studying at a partner university abroad. The program emphasizes the development of scientific knowledge, technical skills, advanced research methodologies, analytical expertise, and prepares students for a variety of careers in various sectors related to Earth systems and environmental science, including research-focused roles.
