This program provides a comprehensive grounding in the German language, culture, and society. Students will develop advanced language skills (reading, writing, speaking, and listening), study German literature, history, film, and thought, and explore contemporary issues in Germany and the German-speaking world. The program emphasizes the development of critical thinking, analytical skills, intercultural competence, and prepares students for a variety of careers in various sectors. Study abroad opportunities are often available.
