This program provides a comprehensive understanding of Indigenous cultures, histories, and contemporary issues. Students will gain expertise in areas such as Indigenous knowledge systems, Indigenous governance, Indigenous languages, and Indigenous research methodologies. The optional co-op program allows for up to 4 terms of paid work experience. The program emphasizes the development of critical thinking, analytical skills, and a nuanced understanding of Indigenous perspectives, preparing students for careers in Indigenous governance, community development, and related fields.
