Academic school/college: Faculty of Science. This four-year Bachelor of Science (BSc) program provides a strong foundation in the scientific principles underlying climate change. Students in this research-intensive program have the opportunity to work closely with internationally renowned faculty members within UVic’s Faculty of Science. The program offers an optional co-operative education (“co-op”) component, allowing students to gain up to 4 terms of paid work experience integrated with their studies.

Career options in climate modeling and analysis, environmental consulting, government agencies (environmental protection, climate policy), research institutions, renewable energy companies, sustainability roles in businesses, risk assessment (insurance, finance), and potentially in science communication and education.
