This STEM-classified program provides a broad and rigorous understanding of environmental science, covering topics such as ecology, environmental chemistry, environmental physics, environmental policy, climate change, and sustainability. Students will develop a strong foundation in scientific principles and gain practical skills in field work and laboratory analysis. The program prepares graduates for a variety of careers in the environmental sector. The BA and BS designations may reflect different curricular emphases within the program. The BA often emphasizes the social sciences and humanities aspects of environmental issues, while the BS tends to focus more on the natural sciences.
