This joint honors program combines the study of Hispanic cultures, histories, societies, and literatures with the in-depth study of history. Students will develop advanced language skills in Spanish, alongside a broad understanding of historical periods, themes, and methodologies. The program emphasizes the development of critical thinking, analytical skills, intercultural competence, historical research skills, and a deep understanding of the interconnectedness of history and Hispanic cultures, preparing students for careers in various sectors that require strong communication, cultural awareness, language skills, and historical knowledge.
