This program provides a comprehensive and advanced grounding in design engineering principles, with a focus on global challenges and collaborative, human-centered design. Students will learn about topics such as design thinking, systems engineering, manufacturing processes, sustainable engineering, and project management, and will undertake a significant research or design project. This program offers a more in-depth and specialized study of engineering compared to the BEng. The program emphasizes the development of technical skills, creative problem-solving abilities, teamwork, advanced research methodologies, and prepares students for a variety of engineering careers, including research-focused roles.
